Kleintiere Schweiz ist seit 2007 der neue Name der über die Landesgrenzen hinaus bekannten Schweizerischen Gesellschaft für Kleintierzucht SGK. Der Verband Kleintiere Schweiz ist zugleich Dachorganisation der vier nachfolgend beschriebenen Fachverbände. Ihre Mitglieder sind in Sektionen, Klubs, Vereinigungen und/oder in Spezialvereinigungen organisiert und jeweils einem Kantonalverband angeschlossen. Klubs sind Zusammenschlüsse von Züchtern, die sich auf eine oder mehrere Rassen spezialisiert haben, während sich Personen mit fachverbandsspezifischen Aufgaben, z. B. Experten, zu Vereinigungen zusammenschliessen. Spezialvereinigungen wiederum sind Zusammenschlüsse von Personen mit fachverbandsübergreifenden Aufgaben wie Referenten, Fleischverwerter, Kochkursleiter oder dem Verband Kleintiere Schweiz nahe stehende Organisationen.

The objective of this campaign is to achieve a positive behavioural change towards smarter, cleaner and more intelligent urban mobility. Participation in citizen-led initiatives at the local level during the week of 16-22 September represents the highlight of the campaign. But actions are not limited to one week in the year: in addition to local authorities, other organisations that promote sustainable urban mobility at any time during the year gain valuable visibility and support thanks to the MOBILITYACTIONS feature (see last chapter).
