These are the things that make up our basic brand. To provide flexibility, there aren’t many rules concerning their use, but those rules that do exist must be followed without deviation. It’s the only way we’ll be able to build our brand recognition.
Everything you put down should be there for a reason. Less is more! Never use anything for just decoration.
VSO Graphic Identity Guidelines
Photography
Photography can communicate in a way that transcends language and culture in a way that words can’t so is an increasingly important medium for VSO. However in an age where many people have digital cameras or camera phones, it’s ever more important that our photography stands out from the crowd and shows our beneficiaries in a respectful and dignified manner.
Templates and paper stock
Consistency in the layout of all our stationery and printed material worldwide helps us to strengthen our image. To achieve this consistency we have produced a range of formats and designs for formal and informal applications within in this section (template files for them are available on the brand hub).
However, it is inevitable that you’ll find some formats or applications are not covered. Please help us by emulating this section of the brand guidelines as closely as possible for those applications.
It is the responsibility of each VSO staff member to ensure that all materials produced, are designed in accordance with these Graphic Identity Guidelines.
